Let’s talkEarly-stage project · Building the future of grocery shopping
Prices are everywhere. Comparing them takes time. We aim to combine shoppers’ observations with AI to make everyday decisions easier.
Community-contributed shelf-label photos are the starting point: a product, a price, a store and a time of observation.
AI will read labels, identify products and match them across stores, accounting for pack size, product variants and unit prices.
Using your grocery list, we aim to suggest lower-cost baskets and practical ways to split purchases across stores, considering time and convenience.
The lowest price on one item does not always make the best shopping trip. We aim to build an assistant that connects fragmented shelf-label data and helps choose a strategy for your entire list.
The same brand, size and variant. Alternatives should be clearly identified.
Observation dates and promotion conditions matter. We aim to include them in comparisons.
More stores are not always better. A useful plan should also account for the effort of shopping.
